I’m chewed up but not spat out yet,
Why do I let myself be this way,
You say I over react,
My opinions aren’t welcome here.
I’ll sit and wait for the trigger pull,
You’ll smile at me down the sight,
And I’ll smile back,
I have no control over this face.
I’ve long since passed victimhood,
Tear’s don’t come no more,
Where the river used to run,
We stand waist deep in dust.
I’m chewed up but I won’t spit,
Watch me tumble back and forth,
Like a fool in a gif,
We can watch forever.
